We only planned to spend 3 nights on Koh Pha-ngan this time around, but we’ve fallen so in love with exploring this amazing island that we’ve now been here for over a week already and changed our flights out of Thailand 🌴✨ . We spent a little time on the island a few years ago but didn’t realise the amount of adventure that there was to be had! . One of our favourite views on the island, pretty mad that you can get a view this good for a 15 minute hike 🌴 . This one is called John Suwan viewpoint, it is one of the coolest hikes climbing up boulders, it’s great for sunrise or sunset... and if you go early in the morning (this was not long after sunrise) you might manage to swerve the crowds 🙊🙌🏼 . #thailand #kohtao #travelcouple #thailandtravel #thailand🇹🇭

Sunsets like this are proof that even shitty days can turn into magic ones☺️ This was our first day in Koh Tao, and if you saw our stories you’ll know that we didn’t have the best journey this time around 😅. On the overnight bus neither of us really managed to sleep for some reason, and then the boat ride was so choppy that we spent the 2 hour journey feeling like we were going to throw up. We then walked 30 minutes to our accommodation in the baking heat with our backpacks (the taxis on Koh Tao are extortionate), and arrived to the most uncomfortable beds that we’ve come across in our 2 years of travelling 😅😭 . But oh my god the first Koh Tao sunset was insanely beautiful, it instantly made all the travel seem worth it (I mean we knew it was anyway, but still). We had originally said we wouldn’t take photos as we both still felt so tired and just wanted to chill, but we were so in awe and couldn’t resist snapping a few at the last minute ✨💖. . #thailand #kohtao #thailandgram #thailandinsider #lostinthailand #femmetravel #sunset

Sooo this may sound cheesy.. but one of our main goals in life is to spend as much time as possible together 😅 Some jobs we’ve been in we’ve literally only seen each other for an hour or two a day, and during that time we’d be exhausted from work. So far in 2020 we think we’re doing a pretty good job ❤️ . P.s. SAWADEE KA THAILAND! 🇹🇭 This is still our favourite view of Bangkok 🔥 . . Whenever we’re in Bangkok our favourite thing to do is visit rooftop bars for sunset, and @aboveeleven always kills it with the view! How to nail Valentine’s Day... spend some time with someone you love.. and that’s it!😏❤️ . . Valentine’s Day can be such a big deal - so much commercialism, spending loads of money on gifts, going ott with flowers, meals... which is not our vibe at all 😅 At the end of the day isn’t it all just about love and special people in your life? Not even necessarily a partner - maybe you’re spending the day with your best friend or a family member. Whatever you’re doing, we hope you tell someone how much you care about them today 💘 . . As for us.. we started the day with a very romantic hotel room search and change, because we woke up on the most uncomfortable mattresses in the world 😂 we’ve been beach chilling, are currently sitting in a beach bar and planning our v day dinner. Nowhere fancy... we toyed with the idea but then admitted we’d both rather just go for a local massaman curry, papaya salad and mango sticky rice 🙈 This year we’re both so grateful we get to spend the entire day together, which is a luxury a lot of people don’t have. . . FIVE REASONS WE LOVE SRI LANKA 🇱🇰❤️ . . 1. The people - everytime we come to Sri Lanka we meet so many amazing people! Everyone is so kind, and always so willing to help. 2. The food - Sri Lankan curries, kottu, pani pol, hoppers. We could definitely go on 😛 Sri Lanka is one of our top places to visit for food! The curries are definitely our fave - you always get a selection and they always feel light and so full of goodness.. with the most amazing poppadoms 😏. 3. The variety - you can spend the morning on a baking hot beach, and just a few hours later be up in the cool mountains with the most incredible views, walking along the train tracks to see incredible sites like this this 9 arch bridge! 4. The wildlife - especially on this trip we have seen so many incredible animals! From seeing elephants on safari’s, to doing yoga on a rooftop with monkeys swinging around you in the trees, and our personal favourite - the turtles that pop up to say hey while you’re surfing 🐢. 5. Surfing - Sri Lanka is always such a fun place to surf! And amazing if you’re a beginner... it’s actually where we learnt to surf 3 years ago! We’re so sad to have just finished our month in Sri Lanka (for the second time) but we still have so much to share with you guys, and can’t wait to get writing and updating our blogs ☺️❤️

As hard as it was to leave the coast, the mountains in Sri Lanka have once again blown our mind 🌿✨ This hike was just as tough as we remembered it being, but wow it makes the view from the top a whoooole lot better! There’s not much that makes you feel better than being out in nature and getting a good bit of exercise in, so all in all we were getting a lot of the good chemicals at this point in time 😆 Thinking we need to do more hikes while we’re travelling!
